The Nashville Predators have acquired forward Andrei Kostitsyn from Montreal in exchange for a second-round and conditional fifth-round pick in the 2013 draft.

General manager David Poile announced the move on Monday. Nashville had received the conditional fifth-round pick from Montreal 10 days ago along with Hal Gill in a trade.

The Predators expect Kostitsyn, who is the brother of current Nashville forward Sergei Kostitsyn, to meet the team for its game at Carolina on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old Novopolotsk, Belarus, native has 24 points in 53 games for the Canadiens this season. Montreal drafted him 10th overall in 2003, and he's had 99 goals and 210 points in 379 NHL games since the start of the 2005-06 season.
