Former Wild forward Pierre-Marc Bouchard retires at 31

Longtime Minnesota Wild forward Pierre-Marc Bouchard has retired.
Agent Allan Walsh tweeted Friday that Bouchard decided to stop playing because of the ''risks associated from multiple concussions.'' Bouchard played the past two seasons in Switzerland.
The 31-year-old player said by phone he that while he is healthy now he doesn't want to worry about another injury. He estimates he had three concussions during his NHL career.

Bouchard spent parts of 10 seasons with the Wild. He ranks third in team history in games, fourth in goals, second in assists and third in points. Counting one season with the New York Islanders, he finished with 106 goals, 241 assists and 347 points.
