Canadiens add 2 assistant coaches

The Montreal Canadiens have hired Randy Cunneyworth and Randy Ladouceur as assistant coaches.

Cunneyworth coached the Canadiens' American Hockey League affiliate in Hamilton, Ontario, last season. Ladouceur was his assistant.

Cunneyworth spent 15 seasons as an NHL player, and was an assistant with the Atlanta Thrashers for two years before taking over in Hamilton. Ladouceur played 14 seasons in the NHL, and was an assistant with the Carolina Hurricanes and Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Canadiens made the announcement Friday.
