Watch Bill Belichick crack a pair of jokes on Tom Brady's birthday
Tom Brady turned 39 years old on Wednesday as he continues to chug along as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL despite being the oldest. The 11-time Pro Bowler is suspended for the first four games of the season, but he's still allowed to practice with the team until then.
And to no one's surprise, that's what he's doing on his big day. Bill Belichick was asked if the team is doing anything special for Brady's birthday. He gave a one-word response (with a smile!): "Practicing."
That wasn't the only "joke" Belichick cracked regarding Brady turning 39. He made sure no one forgot it's backup lineman Chris Barker's birthday, too.
"Well, first of all, I don't think we want to miss Chris Barker's birthday either," Belichick said with a laugh.
So it appears Belichick does have a sense of humor, even though it doesn't always show.
