Tom Brady ends presser after Daily News/Trump cover question

FOXBORO, Mass. -- Tom Brady’s friendship with Donald Trump has made plenty of headlines. But the New York Daily News took things to a whole new level with Wednesday’s cover.
The New England Patriots quarterback’s relationship with Trump was back in the news Tuesday after WEEI’s “Dennis and Callahan” asked Brady about the Republican presidential candidate, eliciting this cover from the Daily News:
Brady wouldn’t bite Wednesday when asked for his reaction to the front page. Instead, he kept the focus on the Patriots’ matchup with the Tennessee Titans this Sunday.

“I don’t think about it much,” he said during his weekly news conference. “It’s a tough week, so I’ve got a lot of football stuff to think about and hopefully we can go out and beat the Titans. That would be the most important thing for me.”
When pressed more about the cover, Brady said he’s “just here to play football,” before ending the news conference.
