Serena Williams turned into a total fangirl when she met Tom Brady
Two of the greatest players of all time in their respective sports met Tuesday night, as Serena Williams and Tom Brady both served on a panel at a DICK's Sporting Goods Foundation Sports Matter event. While the two stars were there to talk about the positive impact of athletics in children's lives, it also gave Serena a chance to live her dreams.
Serena is apparently a big Brady fan and seemed overjoyed to meet the quarterback based on her Snapchat videos of the encounter. The tennis star shared a clip of herself with Brady as she demurely told him he's her favorite, to which Brady responded "and you're mine."
It was such an exciting moment for Serena that she then needed a moment to collect herself and "recover."
It's hard to imagine that Serena has much time to watch football given the crazy tennis schedule, but she has professed her love for quarterbacks in the past. Back in 2015, Serena told ESPN W that she would like to be a quarterback if she played.
Serena then told ESPN W she would like to be a linebacker because "I just like to block," so maybe she doesn't have the greatest grasp on football.
Still, it's clear Serena knows exactly who Tom Brady is, and her reaction to meeting him is priceless.
