The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to terms with Minneapolis-based U.S. Bank to be the naming-rights sponsor for the franchise's new billion-dollar stadium, according to Terry Lefton of SportsBusiness Daily.

The 25-year, $220 million deal (average of $8.8 million per year) was finalized in March, per the report, but will not be announced by the Vikings until later this month.

SportsBusiness Daily points out that U.S. Bank is the nation's fifth-largest bank, and in light of their agreement with the Vikings, Minnesota's new stadium becomes "the fourth NFL facility to have a bank as its long-term nameplate."
