Report: Desmond Trufant says he'll play Sunday after injuring back

Desmond Trufant went down in Week 8 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a lower back injury, and immediately left fans hoping for Trufant to avoid any type of serious injury.

Well, fortunately, it looks as though the top cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons should be good to go in Week 9. According to D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Turfant told him directly that he'd be good to go this Sunday.

Well, there you have it, Trufant is expecting to be a go against Blaine Gabbert and the struggling San Francisco 49ers offense.
