Pack win, but lose Adams, Quarless to leg injuries
Wide receiver Davante Adams left the Green Bay Packers' game against the Kansas City Chiefs after just one series, re-aggravating a left ankle injury that forced him to miss the rest of the game.
The Packers still won the game, 38-28.
Adams hobbled off the field after the first series before walking back to the locker room. The Packers announced before the third quarter that he would not return.
Adams first hurt the ankle during the Packers' win last week over Seattle.
Green Bay also lost tight end Andrew Quarless to a knee injury in the second quarter on Monday night. Quarless appeared to be favoring his right leg.
For the Chiefs, cornerback Phillip Gaines left late in the first quarter with a knee injury, further depleting a thin position for Kansas City.
