Did NFL's Twitter account troll Patriots with 'PSI' tweet on Andrew Luck?

So we’re not saying for sure the NFL is trolling the New England Patriots, but like the ongoing Deflategate mess, it’s hard to ignore the evidence.

One might have thought the Deflategate nonsense would have died down after this week’s NFL meetings in San Francisco. Patriots owner Robert Kraft surprised everyone when he sheepishly announced his organization would not appeal the NFL’s discipline in wake of the Wells report findings.

There’s still the ongoing issue surrounding Tom Brady’s suspension and subsequent appeal, but it still seemed like we were all about to move on. And then, there was this tweet from the NFL early Thursday morning.

At first, it doesn’t seem like much of an issue, right? But take a closer look at the words used (notice the bolded letters).

Now, maybe it’s a coincidence that the first letters in each of those words make “PSI,” which just happens to stand for “pounds per square inch,” a measurement of air that’s been a focal point in the whole Deflategate thing. However, adding to the trolling evidence is the fact that the NFL used a photo of Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck with the tweet. The Colts, of course, played the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, which is where the issues of deflated footballs first occurred.

Hmmm  . . .
