Chargers banged up for showdown in Denver

DENVER (AP) The San Diego Chargers are without cornerbacks Brandon Flowers and Steve Williams for their AFC West showdown with the Denver Broncos and record-setting quarterback Peyton Manning.
However, Jason Verrett (shoulder) is active for the game.
Flowers has a concussion and Williams a groin injury. Richard Marshall will start at left cornerback for Flowers and Andrew Gachkar will start in place of linebacker Te'o (foot).
Also, Chargers running back Donald Brown will miss his third straight game because of a concussion.
For Denver, backup cornerback Omar Bolden (concussion) is out.
The only surprise for the Broncos is rookie receiver Cody Latimer being active for the first time since the opener.
