Bills WR hits cop, charged with DWI

Bills wide receiver Paul Hubbard was charged with driving while intoxicated after an early morning incident in which his vehicle hit an officer in Buffalo, N.Y., police said.

The officer was treated at a nearby hospital and released, local news site YNN Buffalo reported.

Hubbard, 26, had one catch in one NFL game last season as he split time between the Bills' practice squad and active roster.

A Bills spokesman said the team was aware of the situation but the ongoing NFL lockout meant team representatives were unable to speak to Hubbard about it.
