Bills CB McGee eager to put injuries behind him

Unable to recall the last time he didn't have a season derailed by injury, Buffalo Bills cornerback Terrence McGee looks to the heavens, wondering if the ''NFL gods,'' as he calls them, are trying to send him a message.

If they are, the nine-year NFL veteran's not listening.

McGee's no quitter. He's shown resilience in coming back from numerous operations that have limited him to playing 26 games over the past three seasons.

And he's not about to give up now while understanding his future could hinge on whether his surgically repaired left knee will be healed in time for training camp next month.

McGee, when healthy, maintains 100 percent confidence in his abilities. And yet, McGee's realistic enough to acknowledge he's running out of chances to prove it.
