Adam Vinatieri sets NFL record with 43rd consecutive field goal made

Adam Vinatieri has been around for 21 years, spending nearly half of his life in the NFL. He’s one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history, and even at this point in his career, he’s shown few signs of slowing down.
On Sunday, he added to his long list of accolades by drilling his 43rd consecutive field goal, setting a new NFL record. Coincidentally, Vinatieri is also 43 years old.
He tied the record by making a 28-yarder against the Titans on Sunday before breaking it with a 33-yard field goal later in the game. The previous record was held by Mike Vanderjagt, who also played for the Colts.
