You'll never guess who Evan Turner idolized as a child

Boston Celtics guard Evan Turner does not lack for confidence. Ever. Even after the Philadelphia 76ers gave up on him and the Indiana Pacers benched him in the playoffs, he still stayed strong. Now that he's a key role player on one of the best teams he's ever been on, Turner's ego has blasted through the roof.

We should all be so thankful:

Turner is averaging 9.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. He's barely shooting over 40 percent from the floor and is one of the worst three-point shooters in the league.

But, in theory, the Celtics need him to handle the ball and create plays for others. The words "in theory" are used here because Boston is actually much better on offense with Turner on the bench. Nobody needs to tell him that, though. He wouldn't believe it anyway.
