The Nuggets are fully healthy finally and Gary Harris will prove to be a vital piece in the starting rotation.

Gary Harris finally returns to the lineup tonight which has many fans excited.

When one sees how bad Denver has been struggling guarding the perimeter, it isn’t hard to see why.

However, this will be Harris’ first game back in a while, which makes one wonder, what should we exactly expect from the shooting guard sensation?

Will we see him guarding Damian Lillard at some points to slow him down a bit?

Will Harris provide some much needed perimeter shooting?

Many things are still uncertain with his return in tonight’s game.

Denver will have their lock-down defender back.

Defensively, we should see Gary Harris back to his old ways.

We should see him locking down opposing players on the perimeter aiding the Nuggets’ defense. I, however, do not expect to see Harris on Lillard as much as other fans would like to see.

The reason I say this is because Malone has had questionable defensive decisions all year so far, plus the Nuggets may not want to throw Harris to the wolves this soon.

I do expect to see him guarding C.J. McCollum and keeping him at bay many times tonight.

McCollum has also torched Denver in their 2 meetings this season just like Damian Lillard, but with Gary Harris returning, it is safe to say they will have to work much harder to get their contributions tonight.

Harris could start out streaky with his offense to start.

Gary Harris is one of Denver’s most underrated offensive weapons. People forget that he has improved his shot from 3-point land each year of his career.

Although, tonight may be a struggle for him offensively.

Gary Harris will always be a stingy defender, but do not be surprised if he needs to knock off the rust in his first game back.

Any time a player misses this much time, it will take a bit of time to adjust and get back to their old selves offensively, unless they are a Steph Curry caliber player.

I do think that Gary Harris will regain his original form on offense eventually, but tonight is a bit too soon to expect the kid to produce efficient offensive numbers.

Nevertheless, it will be great to see Gary Harris back in the starting lineup.
