Watch Portland's Plumlee volleyball-spike opponent's floater

Portland Trail Blazers center Mason Plumlee isn't the best interior presence in the league, but he's athletic, coordinated and smart—three integral characteristics. 

During Wednesday's win over the Utah Jazz, Plumlee decided to show how influential he can be on the defensive end. It was ridiculous.

Poor Rodney Hood never saw it coming. Plumlee probably could've grabbed this ball out of mid air, but nobody should fault him for momentarily thinking he was in a volleyball match instead.
