Watch LeBron James throw down 6 insane dunks during his 50th career triple-double

LeBron James might not be too happy after Thursday’s game, but what he did individually shows he hasn’t lost a step after 13-plus years in the league.

James put up his 50th career triple-double, finishing with 29 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists, but the Cleveland Cavaliers lost their third in a row, 106-101 to the Detroit Pistons. He is the seventh player to reach the 50 triple-double mark, joining Larry Bird, Russell Westbrook, Wilt Chamberlain, Jason Kidd, Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson.

James played 39 minutes – another game in which he had little time to rest – and didn’t have much touch on his jumper, going 0 for 6 from beyond the arc.

So what did James do? What he does better than arguably anyone else in NBA history – attack the rim.

And James put on quite a show while doing that. Half of LeBron’s 12 field goal makes were dunks, and they provided further proof that the 32-year-old surefire Hall of Famer is still one of the most athletic players in the league.

Here’s LeBron cutting to the rim and throwing down a two-hander off a nice pass from Kyrie Irving.

Then there’s James spinning off Reggie Jackson and finishing again with two hands.

And LeBron still can take defenders off the dribble and make help defenders wish they stayed on the ground.

Dunking on two defenders? Check.

The breakaway slam?

And here’s James reminding the NBA world that he’s still stronger than anyone else.

James might be hanging his head over the Cavs' current slump – having lost five of their past seven – but this was a not-so-subtle reminder to the rest of the teams that he’s still as ferocious a finisher as ever.
