Report: Thunder G Andre Roberson out at least 3 weeks

Published Jan. 25, 2016 5:47 p.m. ET

Oklahoma City Thunder shooting guard Andre Roberson will miss at least three weeks with a knee sprain sustained when Russell Westbrook tumbled into him during Sunday's game.

The injury, reported by The Oklahoman, leaves the Thunder down two defensive-minded starters who complement the big three of Kevin Durant, Westbrook and Serge Ibaka. Center Steven Adams is also out likely at least the next two games due to an elbow strain.

According to The Oklahoman, an MRI on Monday confirmed the sprain, but didn't reveal any structural damage that required surgery,

Roberson has missed just one game this season. He will likely be replaced in the starting lineup by either Anthony Morrow or Kyle Singler if coach Billy Donovan prefers to keep Dion Waiters coming off the bench. Singler started in Roberson's place for the second half Sunday against Brooklyn.
