Report: Status of Grizzlies-Trail Blazers game in question

Published Jan. 4, 2016 2:34 p.m. ET

The Grizzlies shooting this year has been as cold as anyone's in the NBA, but no one thought it'd get so iced that the league would start canceling games.

From Rod Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal:

Of course, Grizzlies fans want Mike Conley healthy, regardless of whether there will end up being a game against the Blazers on Monday or not. But now, the question becomes something far more fascinating, where the heck is Blazers big man Ed Davis?

Portland experienced some major inclement weather Monday. Snow storms turned into ice storms, and now the city apparently looks like an ice-skating rink. Lack of proper transportation would be good enough reason to cancel or postpone the game until a later date. Obviously, if safety is a concern, that would play an even greater role in a possible postponement.
