Obama, Drake join Pistons C Drummond's All-Star campaign (sort of)
The 2016 NBA All-Star Game is just over a month away, which means time is running out to vote for your favorite player to make the starting lineup. If you're a Detroit Pistons fan trying to get Andre Drummond into the game, you're in luck — you've got some pretty powerful support backing you up.
Well, sort of. The Pistons created a mashup of President Barack Obama singing Drake's "Jumpman" with a Drummond twist to support the big man's All-Star campaign:
And now, thanks to Toronto's own @Drake, a message from President @BarackObama ... RT #NBAVote Andre Drummond https://t.co/5s0VHNI0YL

Turns out Drummond fans are pulling out all the creative stops trying to get the vote out in favor of their Pistons big man. The FOX Sports Detroit crew broke out a classic board game to spell out all the reasons you should be voting for Drummond:

Oh yeah, he's also got stats to back him up. Drummond is averaging 18.1 points and an astounding 16.0 rebounds per game this season. The 22-year-old from UConn is tallying a double-double on a nightly basis just on the strength of his defensive rebounding, with 10.4 defensive boards per game. Unsurprisingly, Drummond leads the NBA this season in all three rebounding categories.
