Nobody likes Chipotle more than Danny Ainge

Nobody enjoys Chipotle more than Boston Celtics president Danny Ainge. He basically eats there every day, whether he's on the road scouting college stars, strolling around Las Vegas at the NBA's summer league or hanging out at the Celtics practice facility in Waltham, Massachusetts.

He's obsessed, like millions of other consumers, and will probably go into a deep, dark depression when they temporarily close all their restaurants next month to take care of that whole "E.Coli problem."

Here's more on Ainge's first and only love, courtesy of ESPN's Zach Lowe:

Ainge's devotion hasn't wavered amid breakouts of E.Coli and norovirus linked to Chipotle restaurants, including one Boston-area location. "The lines are shorter now," Ainge says, chuckling. "Listen, I'm guessing a lot of chains like this have these kinds of issues. I haven't changed my routine at all. Maybe if I get sick, I will." Ainge is a Norm Peterson-like presence in no less than three local Chipotles: a Waltham location near the team's practice facility; a Needham joint near Ainge's home; and a Framingham Chipotle he hits on nights out with his wife. Workers at all three places now recognize him, and often ask Ainge if he wants, "the usual," he and Zarren say.

Ainge is a busy man. The Celtics have too many bodies in their frontcourt but they play better when their starting small forward (Jae Crowder) moves up a position. It's a problem, and trades are likely on the way.

Don't be surprised if they're all negotiated at a Chipotle near you.
