Marcus Smart: 'The world knows' about Boston's shooting woes

The Boston Celtics entered the season with high expectations, but an inability to make jump shots has killed their buzz.

Here's what Marcus Smart had to say about the entire team's shooting woes, per ESPN Boston's Chris Forsberg:

Let's take a look at a few three-point averages heading into the weekend: Smart's shooting 31.3 percent, Isaiah Thomas is shooting 31.8 percent, Kelly Olynyk is shooting 10 percent, Evan Turner is shooting 20 percent, Jae Crowder is shooting 30.8 percent and Jared Sullinger is shooting 33.3 percent.

It's really bad, and so long as they aren't hitting outside shots, their entire offensive system can't run as smoothly as Brad Stevens needs it to.

Smart sat out Wednesday's game due to a toe injury, but he knows the Celtics haven't been able to buy a basket at times this season. "Oh man, we shot it horrible," said Smart. "Everyone knows it. The coaches know it, the players know it, and the world knows it. We understand we have to get better and knock down shots."
