Kevin Durant will be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame

Kevin Durant is about to add another milestone to his already long list of accomplishments. According to the Daily Oklahoman, Durant will be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame later this year:
Already an MVP on the court, Kevin Durant is receiving Oklahoma’s highest honor of‌f the court.
The Oklahoma City Thunder superstar and 2014 NBA most valuable player is one of eight outstanding Oklahomans who will be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame this fall.
Usually, most halls of fame wait a few years after the star retires to induct them. Then again, this is Durant, the city's first true pro superstar, one who has already brought so much success to the team and the state in such a short amount of time. There's also the more cynical angle, which is that this is another tactic to convince Durant to stay when he becomes a free agent next summer. Either way, Durant's obviously deserving of this honor, and it's fair to say this won't be his only hall of fame induction in his life.
