John Wall: 'No stylist for me'

NBA players are some of the most stylish specimens on the planet right now, but most of them are pointed in the right direction by professionals who know what looks good, what's trendy and fashionable.

But Washington Wizards guard John Wall walks to the beat of his own drum. He knows how to dress, and doesn't need any help. Here's what he recently told SLAM Magazine about how he approaches building a wardrobe:

“No stylist for me. I always wear what I feel comfortable in. Some people are going to be negative about what you wear, some people going to be positive. But I’m always confident in myself and what I feel comfortable in.”

From Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul to LeBron James and Amar'e Stoudemire, most of the NBA's most stylish players have sought out professional help with sartorial decisions at one point or another. But not Wall.

He chooses blazers like he throws passes to open three-point shooters on a nightly basis: Without looking.
