Have the Grizzlies accomplished anything?

The Memphis Grizzlies are up 2-0 in their first-round series against the Portland Trail Blazers. That's the good news. The bad news is they haven't exactly reached their expectations quite yet.

This team wants to win a championship, and beating a wounded opponent in only two games isn't cause for celebration. Here's 3SOB's Chip Crain with more:

"But what have the Grizzlies really accomplished? They won two games at home. You are supposed to win home playoff games. Ah, but people point out the Grizzlies aren’t just winning games. They are demoralizing the Spanish hating Blazers. Mike Conley is showing the world that he should have been in the All-Star game not Damian Lillard. LaMarcus Aldridge is a great player but the rest of the Portland team is being gutted on national TV for everyone to see. Well you are supposed to do that to teams that are decimated by injury when you are at home in the playoffs."

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but this team has to string together a few more weeks of this type of dominance before fans should get excited.
