Chandler Parsons definitely should revive his childhood hairstyle

It's not yet Throwback Thursday or Flashback Friday or whatever, so we're not sure why Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons decided to throw this photo of himself as a sporty youngster on his Instagram account.

Maybe teammate Dirk Nowitzki's Ellen DeGeneres haircut inspired it. We're just glad he did it.

The only things better than the actual photo are Parsons' accompanying hashtags: #whymom, #soupbowlhaircut, #1chaiiinnn and #insane.

We'll take that to mean that Parsons has no plans to let his current buzz cut grow out and revive the old 'do. Too bad.
