Brandon Knight visits agent's doctor to get second opinion on injury
Brandon Knight immediately became the primary option offensively once Eric Bledsoe went down with a knee injury that ended his season.
But he sat out the loss to the Spurs with a groin injury, and it's serious enough to where he felt the need to head out of town and get a second opinion.
Via Paul Coro of AZCentral.com:
Suns guard Brandon Knight flew to Los Angeles on Friday morning to visit his agent’s doctor for a second opinion on his groin injury. Knight has been dealing with a groin strain since the Dec. 31 game at Oklahoma City but he aggravated the injury Tuesday night in a home loss to Indiana and did not play Thursday.
The season is a completely lost one for the Suns, who had plenty of issues (and a sub-.500 record) even before losing Bledsoe to injury. If there's even a chance that Knight's injury is more serious than team doctors may have initially believed, he should take as much time as he needs to make sure the diagnosis is accurate before returning to action.
