At his core, Brad Stevens absolutely loves watching basketball games. So guess what? He's really excited about the NBA Finals, which kicked off last night after what felt like a seven-week break.

Here's what Stevens had to say about the series before the Golden State Warriors took Game 1, per ESPN Boston's Chris Forsberg:

"The Warriors were, I think, the cream of the crop all year and haven't had many road bumps in the playoffs thus far. So it'll be a great thing to watch -- a lot of great players, a lot of versatility on both teams. That'll be the fun part to watch and see how it all breaks down."

After watching last year's Finals, Stevens chose to implement selfless ball movement that was utilized by the San Antonio Spurs. Boston's version wasn't nearly as crisp or effective, but aping it was a good call, and should eventually work in the Celtics' favor.

What will Stevens take from this year's championship?
