Agent says Manu Ginobili turned down 'big offer' to return to Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs will have a familiar face returning as veteran guard Manu Ginobili announced Thursday that he will be back for a 15th season.
Happy to tell you guys that I'll be coming back to the Spurs for another season. #backhome

But despite Ginobili's agent hinting a few days ago that his client wouldn't accept a hometown discount, it appears as though 38-year-old guard did just that.
Herb Rudoy told the San Antonio Express-News that Ginobili turned down a "very serious, big offer" from another team but did not specify the franchise.
"He was committed to coming back (to the Spurs)," Rudoy told the outlet. "Those were my marching orders."
Ginobili, who has spent his entire career with San Antonio, played in only 58 games last season due to a groin injury and averaged 9.6 points, 3.1 assists and 2.5 rebounds.
