Watch Chris Buescher go for horrifying barrel roll in GEICO 500

Rookie Chris Buescher was able to walk away from a horrifying-looking barrel roll just past the halfway point of the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.
On Lap 96, two laps past halfway, Jamie McMurray tapped Austin Dillon on the backstretch, sending the Richard Childress Racing No. 3 Chevrolet into the wall. Behind them, the field wadded up, with seven cars involved in total.
Buescher got the worst of it, as his Front Row Racing Ford went airborne and rolled over, landing on his wheels. But he quickly radioed his crew and said, "I'm OK."
Also caught in the wreck was six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, which meant all four Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolets were involved in accidents already.
“I just saw the replay,” said Buescher. “It was so quick I never had any time to react. We got clipped in the right rear and as soon as it turned it went up on its lid. I thought we were clear of the wreck.”
Buescher was helpless to do anything when he got hit from behind.
“I saw it happening in front of us and checked up and the next thing I knew I was upside down,” said Buescher. “I am pretty sick and tired of speedway racing at this point. It has been a rough year for that. We felt we were decent this race. We were holding our own and waiting but here we are. It is unfortunate. I really hate it for the guys.”
