The Round of 12 gets started on Saturday at Charlotte Motor Speedway and there is a good mix of veterans, rookies, and championship-winning crew chiefs aiming to lead their drivers to the Sprint Cup title at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November.

The most decorated of the crew chiefs undoubtedly is Chad Knaus, who has led Jimmie Johnson to six Sprint Cup championships, since the two teamed up in 2002.

Does past success beat out the young guns like Adam Stevens and Cole Pearn?

Stevens is the defending champion crew chief with the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota and Kyle Busch. Pearn has climbed toward elite territory after leading Martin Truex Jr. to the championship round in Homestead last year, and winning two of the first three races of the Chase this year.

Or is it someone else entirely?

Check out the bios on each of the 12 crew chiefs below.

Then vote for which crew chief is the best.
