Long before he became a three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion, Tony Stewart cut his teeth going open-wheel racing in his native Indiana and throughout the Midwest. Â
In fact, Stewart was a champion in the Indy Racing League prior to embarking on his NASCAR career and he rightly considers the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to be hallowed ground. Â
Stewart still has a home in Indiana, and now that the month of May is here, it's not surprising to find him breaking bread in Indianapolis with some of the legends of the Brickyard. Â
What could they all have been talking about?
