Just how far is too far to go in a NASCAR celebration?

According to WCNC.com in Charlotte, one man recently found out.

A Clover, SC, man was arrested after firing his gun multiple times while “drinking and celebrating Tony Stewart’s” NASCAR championship Sunday night, the TV station reported.

According to the report, Brian Kevin Young has admitted to shooting his 9mm handgun in celebration of Stewart’s third title after an officer told him to stop shooting because “he had been drinking and it was dark.”

After the warning, police left the home but returned five minutes later after another report. Young then reportedly was interviewed again with a beer in his hand.

According to the York County Sheriff’s Office police report, obtained by WCNC, the 46-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct, use of a firearm under the influence and malicious injury to real property.
