The Hot Pass: Truex wins battle of engines

It will be a battle of Martins on the front row for the 51st running of the Daytona 500.
Martin Truex Jr., who won the pole with a lap of 188.001 mph, will line up with former Dale Earnhardt Inc. teammate Mark Martin on the outside for next Sunday's running of the Great American Race. Martin's time was 0.05 of a second slower than Truex, who posted a time of 47.87 seconds in qualifying.
