The Hot Pass: A new approach needed for 600

For just the second time in the 50-year history of the Coca-Cola 600 (and the first time because of rain), the event was postponed.

While fans suffer the discomfort of altering travel plans and returning on Monday for the race, race teams have to evaluate and contend with the cars before noon.

Since the transporters rolled into Lowe's Motor Speedway at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday and the cars took to the track that afternoon, teams spent two days dialing in the cars for the 600-mile event.
