Reed Sorenson is the latest driver to have his car erupt in a ball of flames during the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway.

After losing a right-front tire shortly after the halfway point of the race, Sorenson pitted for new rubber just past the halfway point on his unsponsored No. 36 Chevrolet.

But it didn't help, as the car erupted into a spectacular fireball after he went back on the track. The only good thing about it was that crew members and NASCAR officials were able to pull Sorenson out quickly once he stopped on pit road and the fire was quickly controlled.
