National Motorsports Appeals Panel upholds indefinite suspension of crew member

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 1:55 p.m. ET

The National Motorsports Appeals Panel has upheld the indefinite suspension of NASCAR member Chicago Paskiecz.

Paskiecz was originally suspended by NASCAR on Oct. 14, 2015 for violating the behavioral policy (Sections 12.1 and 12.8 of the NASCAR rule book) at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The panel determined that Paskiecz violated the rule book and the penalty was upheld. The panel consisted of Lee Baumgarten, Ken Clapp and Steve Lewis.

Paskiecz has the opportunity to appeal the decision to the National Motorsports Final Appeal Officer.
