NASCAR drivers carry veteran names during Coca-Cola 600

Every Memorial Day weekend, NASCAR and its teams, suppliers and Charlotte Motor Speedway recognize and honor our fallen troops in every branch of the military.

This year, all 40 cars entered the Coca-Cola 600 will carry on their windshields the name of a brave soldier who died defending our country. NASCAR calls this 600 miles of remembrance, an appropriate title for men and women killed in the line of duty.

So thanks to the vets who paid the ultimate price and their families, who have had to carry on without them. On this weekend, we honor and remember your service and your sacrifice.
