Maynard returns to reality television

Emily Maynard, former fiancée of the late Ricky Hendrick, will return to reality television.

According to People.com, Maynard will be the next star on "The Bachelorette" on ABC.

Maynard was engaged to NASCAR driver Hendrick, son of team owner Rick Hendrick, when he died in a plane crash in Oct. 2004. Days later she found out she was expecting his child. She is now a single mom raising her daughter, Ricky, who is 6.

Maynard was previously on "The Bachelor," where she became engaged to Brad Womack.

The show will premiere in the spring.
