Live on FS1 at 2 p.m ET: NASCAR president Mike Helton news conference

FOX Sports 1 is interrupting regularly scheduled programming to bring viewers live coverage of NASCAR President Mike Helton's news conference from Atlanta Motor Speedway today at 2 p.m. ET, as it did for Tony Stewart's news conference from AMS at 1 p.m..

Stewart, a three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion, is returning to the track for the first time since being involved in an on-track sprint car incident Aug. 9 that resulted in the death of fellow racer Kevin Ward Jr. at Canandaigua (N.Y.) Motorsports Park. Stewart has not competed in the last three NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES events.

A special edition of NASCAR LIVE! has John Roberts and Matt Clark in the Charlotte studio, with Darrell Waltrip, Larry McReynolds, Mike Joy and Bob Dillner live from Atlanta Motor Speedway.
