With 500 laps on tap in this Saturday night's Sprint Cup race, Brad Keselowski is taking things a bit easier at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Parker Kligerman will replace Keselowski in Friday night's NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the tough 0.533-mile short track.

"Keselowski is still healing from an ankle fracture and strained back suffered in his testing accident at Road Atlanta earlier this month," Penske Racing President Tim Cindric said in a statement. "Brad's condition will continue to be monitored on a race-by-race basis."

Keselowski has sat out of all Nationwide races since his accident in testing on August 4. He has also gone on a hot streak during that span in Sprint Cup compeition, finishing 1-2-3 in his last three races.
