Jimmie Johnson talks Dale Sr. -- 7:30 p.m. ET, FOX Sports 1

JIMMIE JOHNSON GOES 1-ON-1 WITH CURT MENEFEE TONIGHT ON FOX SPORTS 1
Six-time and defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson goes 1-ON-1 with FOX NFL SUNDAY host Curt Menefee in a wide-ranging, half-hour interview on FOX Sports 1 tonight at 7:30 PM ET. The interview kicks off NASCAR NIGHT ON FOX SPORTS 1, which includes THE DAY: DAYTONA PRIMETIME (8 p.m. ET), RETURN OF THE 3 (9 p.m. ET) and THE DAY: REMEMBERING DALE EARNHARDT (10 p.m. ET).
Among the topics in this half-hour interview ... one of Johnson's biggest regrets involves the late Dale Earnhardt.
"Richard (Petty) was too far removed for me to say that I had a chance to drive with him on the track," Johnson told FOX Sports 1-ON-1. "But Dale (Earnhardt), that could have happened, and I so regret that I'll never have that chance to honestly get spun out or crashed by him. That opportunity will never be there for me.
"I mean every kid, especially my generation, that black three, the black three, you know, that's what you wanted to be and race against," Johnson continued. "And knowing Jeff Gordon as I do and watching him race with Dale all those years -- and then talking about it with Jeff -- now there's some really cool experiences there that I would have loved to have had."
