MARTINSVILLE, Va. -- Clint Bowyer topped the charts in final practice for Sunday's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway (12:30 p.m. ET, FS1).

Bowyer finished the Saturday afternoon session with a time of 93.863 miles per hour in the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford. Joe Gibbs Racing's Kyle Busch was right behind him with a fast lap of 93.567 mph, as Jamie McMurray, Brad Keselowski and Ryan Newman completed the top five.

"The No. 18 (Busch) seems to be the fastest car, but we're not too far behind," McMurray told FOX Sports during the session. "It's definitely going to make the drive home tonight (Saturday night) a little easier."

Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott will start on the front row for the STP 500. Larson finished 14th in the session while Elliott posted the 22nd fastest time.
