Fans have chance to ride along with Dale Jr., meet ZZ Top & more


Fans have the opportunity to help out one of NASCAR's biggest charitable efforts and score some awesome prizes as well.
Thanks to the Speedway Children's Charities Ride of a Lifetime and VIP auctions, fans have the chance to bid on items such as riding along with a driver during pre-race activities for the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, spending the day with FOX NASCAR pit reporter Jamie Little and much more.
Ride of a Lifetime Auction
Fans can bid to ride along with their favorite driver during their parade lap during driver introductions before the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday, May 24, via the "Ride of a Lifetime" auction. One lucky bidder will have the chance to ride with Jeff Gordon as he prepares to start his final Coca-Cola 600. Other drivers participating in the auction include Carl Edwards, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Danica Patrick, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Kasey Kahne, Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, Kyle Larson, Matt Kenseth, Ryan Newman and Tony Stewart.
Winning bidders will receive a pit and garage tour, attend the drivers' pre-race meeting and witness driver introductions prior to their parade lap around the track in the back of a Toyota Tundra. To place a bid, visit the Speedway Children's Charities auction site. The auction closes on Monday, May 18.
VIP Experience Auction
This year Speedway Children's Charities is offering truly unique VIP experiences, providing fans with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Among the packages up for auction are a Little Big Town meet-and-greet, a visit to Victory Lane for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race or Coca-Cola 600, a meet-and-greet with ZZ Top and more. VIP Experiences include: A Day with Jamie Little: The winning bidder of this package will get to spend the day with FOX Sports pit reporter Jamie Little. There are two options up for grabs, NASCAR Sprint All-Star or Coca-Cola 600 racedays. Meet Little during pre-race and get a headset with a scanner and stand with her on pit road for the entire race as she reports during the broadcast. If her driver wins, the winner will go to Victory Lane with her.
Victory Lane Packages:
Enjoy the historic moment when the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race or Coca-Cola 600 winner gets out of the car and celebrates in Victory Lane. The winning bidder for each package will receive access for themselves and a guest to Victory Lane as well as the opportunity to attend the winner's champagne toast in The Speedway Club.
Little Big Town Meet & Greet Package:
One lucky bidder will get the opportunity to meet country group Little Big Town prior to their concert presented by Fusion by Rayovac before the drop of the green flag at the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race on May 16.
ZZ Top Meet & Greet Package:
ZZ Top will perform prior to the Coca-Cola 600 and someone will place the winning bid to meet these legendary rock-and-roll Hall of Famers before they take the stage on Sunday, May 24.
All-Access Packages:
The winning bidder for these two packages, one for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race and one for the Coca-Cola 600, will receive two hot passes with access to the garage area and pit road on race day, as well as VIP parking.
The auction for the Sprint All-Star Race packages ends on Monday, May 11 and the auction for the Coca-Cola 600 packages closes on Monday, May 16.
The Speedway Children's Charities hosts a number of charitable events throughout the year and raises money to support charitable organizations benefiting children. There are eight Speedway Children's Charity chapters at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Kentucky Speedway, Sonoma Raceway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway.
