Buescher gaining notice this season

Hey there, FOXSports.com! James Buescher, driver of the No. 31 Deft Finishing Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, here this week for the Turner Motorsports blog.
We are all gearing up for the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. What a great place to race! They reconfigured the track a couple of years ago and it has really paid off. We can run side by side all night long. It should be a great race!
Looking back on 2010, it has been quite the year!
I started the season with plans to run a NASCAR Nationwide Series car full time for Phoenix Racing as well as a handful of Truck races for a startup team, Turner Motorsports. In April, Phoenix Racing and I mutually agreed to part ways, so I turned my focus to running the No. 31 Chevrolet Silverado full time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
It was one of the best decisions I have ever made!
Steve Turner, owner of Turner Motorsports, is a racer a heart and knows what it takes to make a program succeed. He has a passion for helping cultivate young talent and give them a chance to make it to the next level. We started building new trucks and all the guys at the shop were willing to do whatever it took to help us go fast. We spent a lot of time testing at tracks in and around the Carolinas as well as going to the wind tunnel.
By the middle of the summer, we were really clicking on all cylinders.
Our No. 31 Chevrolet was qualifying in the top two or three each and every week and we were starting to really contend for race wins. We almost won the race at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, getting passed on the last lap by Kyle Busch, and followed it up with another top-three run the very next week at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
As a first-year team, we were really starting to turn heads in the garage area.
Then, Mr. Turner decided to take Turner Motorsports to the next level by acquiring Braun Racing, a four-car NASCAR Nationwide Series powerhouse team. We immediately saw the benefits of being such a large organization. We had resources that people only dreamed of.
In late October, we announced that in 2011 we will add the very talented Justin Allgaier to our stable. He has proven he has what it takes to compete for wins and championships and is a fantastic spokesperson for any corporate partner. Justin has become a great friend over the years and I am so excited that he will be a teammate next year. He will bring so much to our program.
We feel like we have all the tools available to contend for not only race wins, but the 2011 championship in both series.
We have set our goals high, but know that with a lot of hard work and the dedication of our over 120 employees who all have the competitive desire to compete, we will make it happen.
