WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (AP) Joey Logano has won the Xfinity Series pole on the road course at Watkins Glen International.

Logano turned a fast lap and track-record speed of 124.308 mph for his fourth pole of the year and 30th in the second-tier series, tied for second all-time with Mark Martin. That was good enough to edge Penske Racing teammate Brad Keselowski's speed of 123.607 mph.

Chase Elliott, second in series points, will start third, followed by Kyle Larson and series points leader Chris Buescher as Ford took three of the top five spots.

Logano also was fastest in the first round of qualifying, just ahead of Keselowski.
