Trout happy for girlfriend's brother drafted by Angels

News that the Los Angeles Angels drafted Aaron Cox, the younger brother of Mike Trout's girlfriend Jessica, made its rounds earlier this week. 

When asked about his old friend from Millville, New Jersey, Trout told Jeff Fletcher of the O.C. Register that he hadn't had any discussions with the Angels about drafting Cox.

Trout added that, "It’s cool, growing up with him and seeing him develop. He had a slight chance out of high school then he went to college and really got bigger and stronger.”

As for Cox, he pitched with Gannon University in Pennsylvania this season, and his 3.67 ERA was enough to convince the Halos to select him with their pick in the 19th round.
