Wolverines DB upset about food availability
A potential key player for Michigan's defense this fall, Jabrill Peppers, apparently has some problems with how he's able to get food as a student-athlete for the Wolverines.
The redshirt freshman defensive back used his Twitter account to share some frustration Tuesday night.
It ain't funny bro lol I'm over here hurting, this my last one out the 12 pack https://t.co/Ql15LDRpKS

When that predictably made some headlines, he followed up with some points of clarification Wednesday morning.
For those who thought concerns like these were answered last year by the NCAA's lifting of rules on how much food schools can provide for athletes, Peppers' situation would seem to indicate that is not the case.
What's the catch? Well, food might be unlimited now, but that does not mean it is necessarily available any time an athlete is hungry or has time within what tends to be a jam-packed schedule to eat. It also doesn't mean players are given unlimited money to buy food -- such as groceries -- for consumption off campus.
