LOS ANGELES (AP) Utah State cornerback Daniel Gray has been taken from the Coliseum field on a stretcher after getting injured while making a tackle against Southern California.
Gray was injured in the first quarter of the Aggies' game at USC on Saturday.
He tackled USC receiver Steven Mitchell Jr. for a 6-yard loss but didn't get up after the hit. Players from both teams kneeled on the sidelines while medical personnel tended to the senior, a transfer from Tennessee.
Most of the Utah State roster then ran onto the field to give good wishes to Gray while he was wheeled off the field and up the Coliseum tunnel.
